Little respect for ideals of the founding fathers
Concerning the attempt to control all 3 branches of the government, Senator Harry Reid sums it up ....

Power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutly. No democracy has the structures and institutions to ensure the protection of the disempowered and vulnerable. Democracies further the interests of the majority at the expense of the minority. Its a ultilitarian conception of maximizing the pleasure of the most at the expense of a few.. or in this country the manipulation and misinformation to/of many by the few, to the exploitation of almost all.
